Today’s economic climate in the doldrums of recession, consequently people are expecting more of the multi-national companies and corporations to downsize even further than they have, we have reached a situation whereby many people ate turning towards home based opportunities to secure a future. One of the most infuriating undertakings I have recently been witness to is with the growing demand for legitimate business opportunity leads, many established internet lead generating sites are double and triple selling their so called legitimate captured leads. This being a total rip off.

How to get around this – well bypass the lead generating companies, again for a new internet user this will present a stumbling block through the lack of knowledge, yes I was in that position a year ago using a trusted site, decided to do a check on my own dedicated capture advert, great stuff I thought when my name appeared in my subscriber list, however what followed was much to my dis-trust. I received no less than 4 phone calls from different advertisers including a handful of follow up emails (within an 8 hour period).

What does this tell you about paying for genuine leads when your details get sold to more than 1 genuine business? Needless to say my account was closed within a matter of hours.
I refused to pay over $2.50 per genuine lead to get my own paid for “genuine” leads split over 5+ advertisers. That just goes to show that to the particular advertising site my lead is worth over $12.00. A total rip off. I could name and shame that particular site but that is not what I am about. Ok this happened with one reputable advertising site, the point of this is - keep your wits about you when buying leads.

The biggest problem with trying to generate your own leads is the fact very few people will actually know how to do this, or in fact even advertise their business successfully. One of the best ways we have found recently is by article writing and blogging.
Creating a well sought after blog can take some time to develop, however if you create an internet marketing system that will generate leads to follow up and convert into paid customers or product sales, duplication of your own system you will grow your business rapidly.
Gone are the days of marketing home based businesses via mail shots, flyers and inviting people to physical parties, or have they?

Maybe the physical parties have, however they may have been replaced by webinars but the old approach to marketing – newspaper adverts and flyers seem to be taking a turn into the popular sector again to promote on and offline products.

To get exactly what we expect from our own lead capture we created a new site to capture our own details, however this has only been around for several months, with the new launch saw some of our original successful subscribers advertising on our site to generate their own leads. It’s a win situation for all involved as the advertiser gets their own unique leads and we get the site presence and advertising fee. Job Done.
